PM4L (Project Management For Life) – Outreach Program

RMIT PCPM staff were part of a team that kicked off Outreach Program in 2014 Dec as part of the PMI leadership program. PM4L is  a volunteer initiative by

  • Project Management Institute  Melbourne Chapter – A non-profit organization
  • RMIT – Australia’s leading education provider, and
  • Ericsson – World’s leading telecommunications solutions provider

PM4L aims to promote project management as an important life skill, focusing on introducing project management to school children, who can benefit immensely from

  • learning the core project management principles and incorporating them into everyday life, and
  • applying these skills to pursue a professional career

PM4L hosted a Project Management Workshop at the recent PCPM Property and Project Management Experience Day on 6th July and will also be taking part in Brunswick Secondary School Yearly Career Day “MyLife” in August 2016.

PM4L has regular meetings to continuously develop the program and seek further opportunities to engage schools.

Volunteer list: Nigam Vaid, Lyn Windsor, Abhas Chandra, Daniel Zerbe, Zeina Assouad, Richard Chua, Vanessa Wills, Guinevere Gilbert, Leila KOUSHAEIAN, Nisha Gill

Thank you to all volunteers and board members for the great support and team work.
